This year Toyota has championed the field in new looks and features. Across the board Toyota has added a touch of luxury to car models and showcased their talent for forward-thinking technology under the hood. Beauty and Brains! Toyota has proven that 2014 is the year to ditch your off-brand vehicle.

The Highlander is a prime example of Toyota’s vision for 2014. For starters the Highlander now has room for 8 passengers, which makes sense for families on the go or those with a lot to tow. Even with the heavier load, the Highlander has great fuel economy at 19 Mpg city and 25 hwy. The Highlander wont break the bank either. Staring around $30,000 the Highlander is a steal that will continue to save drivers money on gas and maintenance, all while looking like a million bucks. It’s the perfect package!

The exterior of the Highlander has a new, stylish look resembling a luxury SUV; a wink and a nod at Toyota’s sister company Lexus. The dashboard of the highlander has increased storage compartments and a large center console with 24.5 liters of space to store whatever you need handy.

Driving the Highlander is more luxurious too! Toyota engineers focused on Noise, Vibration and Harshness to make the Highlander driving experience smoother and safer. AutoGuide.com reports that, “There’s also plenty of technology. The new Highlander is available with the latest driver assistance systems, things like blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alter. Additionally a backup camera is standard, which is a handy addition. Bluetooth connectivity and heated side-view mirrors are also included at no extra charge.”
Despite being more moderately sized than the Landcruiser or 4Runner, the Highlander now features a more spacious third-row and additional cargo room. In fact there is more than 83 cubic feet of storage! And did we mention that the Highlander can tow up to 5,000 pounds?
